Man with the Yellow Hat: Today will be a good day to try our new sled, George!
Narrator: Said the man with the yellow hat.
Man with the Yellow Hat: Let's go up to the hill!
Narrator: They got in their little blue car and drove off.
Man with the Yellow Hat: I wanna say hello to an old friend, George!
Narrator: Said the man.
Man with the Yellow Hat: You can climb to the top of the sled and see what's going on, but don't get into trouble.
Narrator: At the top of the hill, Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez were watching their three children playing in the snow. Lisa and Paula were making a snowman. Their little brother, Jimmy, who was watching. They were rolling a big ball to make a bottom of the snowman. George wanted to make his own snowman, he started to roll a snowball, it got bigger and bigger until it was so big that George couldn't see over it.
Mr. Ramirez: Watch out, George!
Narrator: Called Mr. Ramirez.
Mr. Ramirez: You're getting close to the edge of the hill.
Narrator: But George was so busy rolling the heavy snowball. And suddenly, he pushed it over the air. The ball rolled down the hill, turning faster and faster, gathering more snow as it went.
Man #1: Watch out!
Narrator: Someone cried.
Man #1: It's an avalanche!
Narrator: Some skiers slipped over, a boy on a sled got covered with snow.
Man #2: It's that monkey up there!
Narrator: Shouted someone.
Man #2: Get out of here!
(Curious George zooms past)
Narrator: He saw a snow fence, jumped over and hid behind it. Now no one had seen him. George was safe, (Curious George pops out) he peeked out. There was Jimmy all alone. He was trying to climb on a sled. The sled started to slide toward the edge of the hill. In a moment, he was right over.
Mrs. Ramirez: Jimmy!
Narrator: Shouted his mother.
Mrs. Ramirez: Get off that sled!
Narrator: But she was too far away, and Jimmy couldn't hear her. But George knew what to do. He ran toward the sled and jumped on it right behind Jimmy. But two hands, he held on to the boy and with the other two, he steered the sled. Just then, George saw a tree stump. They were heading straight towards it. George held Jimmy close to him and steered here from the stump. Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez, Lisa and Paula came running down the hill.
Mrs. Ramirez: Jimmy, are you all right?
Narrator: Cried Mrs. Ramirez.
Narrator: Shouted Lisa.
Lisa: George is with him.
Narrator: Jimmy just laughed. It had been lots of fun.
Boy: There's that monkey who knocked me down!
Narrator: Shouted the boy.
Skier: You got it all right too!
Narrator: Said the skier.
Mr. Ramirez: Leave him alone. He saved my little boy!
Narrator: Said Jimmy's father.
Mr. Ramirez: I think George was a hero.
(people applauds and cheers)
Paula: Good work!
Narrator: Cried Paula. They all clapped and cheered.
Boy: I guess you're right!
Narrator: Said the boy.
Boy: Now that you're a hero, George. All that you have a ride on my sled.
Narrator: Just then, the man with the yellow hat heard the cheers and rushed over.
Man with the Yellow Hat: So there you are, George!
Narrator: Said the man.
Man with the Yellow Hat: How could you give me a ride now?
