Man with the Yellow Hat: Looks like I need a haircut. Let's go to the barber shop!
Narrator: George and his friend got into their little blue car and drove off. The man with the yellow hat left George off in front of the barber shop.
Man with the Yellow Hat: You go in and I'll park the car.
Narrator: Said the man.
Man with the Yellow Hat: But please don't get into trouble.
Narrator: Inside the barber shop, the man with the black beard was ready to pay his bill. But, he couldn't find his wallet. He was very worried.
Man with the Black Beard: Has anyone seen my wallet?
Narrator: He asked. Everybody started to look for it.
Barber Shop Owner: Look under the chair!
Narrator: Said the owner.
Barber Shop Owner: It must be somewhere.
Narrator: But nobody could find it anywhere. Finally, the barbers went back to work. (phone rings) George was watching what was going on. One customer was getting a haircut, another one a shade, still another one was covered with a hot towel. George sat in one of the barber shop chairs and kept turning it around. A barber was drying his customer's hair with a funny looking thing. How did that work? (phone rings) George was curious. When the barber went to answer the phone, George quickly picked up the strange thing and pushed the button. Whoosh! It blew hot air all over the place. He pointed the thing and the customer had his haircut.
Customer #1: Almost hair stood up.
Narrator: Then George turned around and pointed the thing at the man who was giving a shade.
Customer #2: What a mess!
Barber #1: Stop that monkey!
Narrator: Shouted the angry barber.
Barber Shop Owner: Catch him! Catch him!
Narrator: Yelled the owner.
Barber Shop Owner: He's ruining my business!
Narrator: George was scared. There was an open door in the back of the shop. George ran in and dived into a large pile of towels. This was the place where the barbers threw their towels where they finished the customer. By now, the barber shop was full of confusion.
Barber #2: Huh! I think he went in there!
Narrator: Shouted the barber pointing to the back room.
Customer #2: You're right! Let's get him!
Narrator: Yelled someone else. Then the shop owner himself ran into the back room.
Barber Shop Owner: Okay, George! I got you now!
Narrator: He said. All the other barbers and customers came running to see what was going on. (people murmuring) Everybody was angry. There was no way out for George. Suddenly, the man with the black beard bent down and picked up something in a big pile of towels.
Man with the Black Beard: Look at this!
Narrator: He shouted.
Man with the Black Beard: I found my wallet.
Barber #2: It must had gotten tangled up to use towels and I had finished your haircut.
Narrator: Said a barber. The owner started to smile.
Barber Shop. Owner: Well, George.
Narrator: He said.
Barber Shop Owner: You should cause a big mess. But you help some of the large problems.
(people applauds and cheers)
Man with the Black Beard: Right!
Narrator: Said the man with the black beard.
Man with the Black Beard: I mean I never even found my wallet without George.
Narrator: Just then, the man with the yellow hat came over.
Man with the Yellow Hat: You are lucky this time, George.
Narrator: He said. Then he turned to the owner.
Man with the Yellow Hat: And now, can I have my haircut?
Barber #2: Right away, sir. You're next.
