Curious George and the Dam Builders is the first half-episode of the fifteenth episode of Curious George.
In the Country, a warm day finds Curious George sailing his toy boat in his favorite pond and stream, but when Curious George's toy boat plunges over a waterfall, the damage causes the toy boat not to float.
So, Curious George asks Mrs. Renkins to repair his toy boat, which she gladly does, and so Curious George is able to sail again, and he is also pleased to see a rainy night because this means more water for the pond tomorrow.
But, the next morning, Curious George is stunned to discover that the pond is missing and the stream is merely trickling because of strange wall, which causes the water to be blocked upstream.
Well, Bill the Country Neighbor Boy explains to Curious George that the Beaver Family has built this dam, but not to get too close to them because the Beaver Family doesn't want anyone to watch.
So, Curious George decides to build a dam of his own and asks Mrs. Renkins for her spare wooden objects, while Mrs. Renkins volunteers the use of Leslie the Cow and the wooden cart to carry the spare wood to the stream.
Now, Curious George's dam keeps falling apart until he learns the proper ways to block the stream, and this displaces the Beaver Family, who move upstream to rebuild another dam, which displaces Curious George, or at least until the next day, when Curious George, Bill and the Beaver Family discovers that the storm has leveled a tree across the stream to displace them all.
