Curious George and the Invisible Sound is the first half-episode of the eighth episode of Curious George.
In the Country, the Man with the Yellow Hat prepares a wildlife exhibit for the Nature Society as he shows Curious George a baby lizard, before the Man with the Yellow Hat takes a census of the moths fluttering about the lantern one evening and then wears green night vision goggles to study the nocturnal feeding habits of raccoons.
So, Curious George assists the Man with the Yellow Hat, by recording animal sounds by carrying around the property a large microphone attached to an audio device.
But once Curious George returns to the Country house, he hears the strange noise created by a lone cricket.
Well, naturally, Curious George tears the entire residence apart in search of the cricket, which he often captures to release outdoors, only to have the cricket return indoors before he is able to close the door and windows.
How will the Man with the Yellow Hat be able to prepare for his wildlife exhibit when he awakens at night to deal with the mess created by "Curious George and the Invisible Sound?"
