|Season 1, Episode 13A|
Curious George the Architect
|Written by||Craig Miller|
Zoo Night is the first half-episode of the thirteenth episode of Curious George.
In the City, Curious George spends hours watching the monitor of the Man with the Yellow Hat's computer, tuning into an internet web-cast of Baby Panda at Zoo website. When the Man with the Yellow Hat tells Curious George that he has to leave for a while, he also mentions that Curious George may visit the City Zoo, down around the corner, because this is where Baby Panda web-cast originates.
Well, needless to say, Curious George makes a hasty exit down around the corner before the Man with the Yellow Hat walks through the door. But, once inside City Zoo, Curious George is not able to locate Baby Panda's habitat until he studies the City Zoo map and is able to find his way, again to spend hours watching Baby Panda, all the way passed sundown, and City Zoo's closing time.
Now, Curious George realizes that Baby Panda has not been given any eucalyptus leaves all day, and so he climbs onto the eucalyptus tree to harvest leaves to feed Baby Panda, before Curious George discovers that he's locked within the confines of City Zoo.
But, after facing the rhinoceros, who backs Curious George into a corner, and, subsequently, into the open door of the office of City Zoo, Curious George discovers a set of two keys upon a ring upon the wall, and so he begins to unlock every door which he encounters, only to discover that in the process, he's releasing all sorts of animals: the lion, the giraffes, monkeys, meerkats, bats, penguins, flamingos...well, everyone except for Baby Panda.
So, will Curious George be able to return every last animal unto his or her proper habitat, and will the Man with the Yellow Hat be able to rescue Curious George on time from his experience during "Zoo Night?"
