  • Narrator: Sometimes a little monkey finds a new thing that's more interesting than anything else on Earth.
  • Curious George: Hmm.
  • Narrator: For George, it was the baby giant panda, which was being shown live on the zoo Web site.
  • Curious George: Aw...
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Um, George, are you going to be much longer?
  • Curious George: (hooting)
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Well, I need to get work done and you've been on the computer all day... Oh, is that what you've been watching, the Panda-Cam?
  • Curious George: (chattering)
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Hey, you know, those pictures come from the Park Zoo right down the block.
  • Curious George: (hooting)
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Yeah, you can go there and see the panda right in front of you in the new panda habitat.
  • Curious George: (chatters bye-bye)
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Bye. Be a good little monkey.
  • Curious George: (chatters)
  • (door shuts)
  • Narrator: There was one thing on George's mind: baby panda, baby panda, baby panda.
  • Curious George: (chatters) A bear! A bear!
  • Little Girl: Look, Mommy, flamingos!
  • Narrator: George didn't want to go the wrong way and lose any panda time. How could he choose a path?
  • Curious George: Ooh.
  • Narrator: A nice big map!
  • Curious George: A bear. Ooh. (chatters)
  • Narrator: George decided to take it and follow the pictures to guide him through the zoo.
  • Curious George: (chatters) Oh. (chattering) (hooting) Ooh. (grunting)
  • Narrator: He'd found the pandas! That map really worked.
  • Baby Panda: (chatters)
  • Narrator: This was much better than watching on the computer. George could watch the panda for hours... and he did... until he felt like that baby would never get any leaves to eat.
  • Curious George: Hey. (chatters)
  • Zookeeper: Nobody here. Guess I can lock up.
  • Curious George: (chatters) Uh-oh! Thank you! Thank you!
  • Baby Panda: (eating leaves)
  • Curious George: A bear!
  • Baby Panda: (snoring)
  • Narrator: Time flies when you're watching pandas. George realized he'd better go before they closed the zoo.
  • Curious George: Huh? Oh-oh. Oh... (chatters) Hmm... Hmm... mm.
  • Narrator: The paths were too confusing.
  • Curious George: (chattering)
  • Narrator: He figured he'd find his way by going from tree to tree.
  • (rhino low grunting)
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: I guess George is staying till the zoo closes. He must be having a lot of fun.
  • Curious George: (yelling) Phew!
  • Narrator: Keys! Keys open doors, and doors let you out! All he had to do now is open the door that would lead him out of the zoo.
  • (lion roars)
  • Curious George: Whew.
  • Narrator: There were lots of other doors. Giraffes looked much more peaceful than rhinos and lions. No way out here. George would just have to keep looking. Nope, this wasn't the exit either.
  • (orangutan chattering)
  • (bats screeching)
  • (penguins squeaking)
  • Narrator: George tried a lot of doors... but he didn't find the way out.
  • (penguins squeaking)
  • Narrator: He didn't realize he'd left the door open. He thought he'd better bring those penguins back. And then he couldn't find them, either.
  • (meerkats chittering)
  • Narrator: He might've left more than one door open. Even worse, he was back where he started.
  • (meerkats chittering)
  • (bats screeching)
  • (orangutan hooting)
  • Narrator: George decided maybe all zoos should be like this... until he realized all the noise was waking up the baby!
  • Curious George: Shh!
  • (meerkats chittering)
  • Narrator: Well, at least the meerkats were home.
  • Baby Panda: (yawns)
  • Narrator: It wasn't easy, but he put every last animal back.
  • Curious George: Bye!
  • (penguins squeaking)
  • Narrator: Still, the animals all looked unhappy. Maybe meerkats don't live on ice. Where did he first see them?
  • Curious George: (chattering)
  • Narrator: This map was good for more than just finding the panda. It showed where all the animals belonged.
  • Curious George: Ah.
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: (groans) George left that Panda-Cam running. Say, where is George? The zoo must be closed by now. George?!
  • (door slams)
  • Curious George: Ah. (chattering) (screeching)
  • Narrator: The animals were happy to get back to their own environments. So, just by following what was next to what, George got everyone home. Everyone except himself.
  • Curious George: Hmm. (hooting) Ha! A bear!
  • Narrator: This map was the most amazing thing George had ever seen-- except for the baby panda.
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: George! George, are you in there?
  • Narrator: After all he'd done, George didn't want the Man with the Yellow Hat to wake up the baby.
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Well, come on out of there. The zoo is closed.
  • Curious George: (chattering)
  • Man with the Yellow Hat: Did you like the baby panda?
  • Curious George: (chatters)
  • Narrator: The orangutan liked his home, but he thought... (an orangutan dreams about Curious George with a banana) "There goes the luckiest monkey on the face of the earth."
  • Girl #1: George is a monkey, so he can do things that you can't do.
  • Girl #2: He put all the animals in the wrong places 'cause he wasn't using his map. Today we are at The Peabody Essex Museum.
  • Brooke: and you are going to use some maps.
  • Girl #1: A map is something that you use to find stuff.
  • Girl #3: We're supposed to make a map and then the next group is supposed to use our clues and our map.
  • Girl #2: These are our clues. There's holes in its ears.
  • Girl #3: We also marked landmarks, the benches and that is a pot.
  • Boy #1: Good luck.
  • Boy #2: There are the benches right there. It should be over there. I think it's a rabbit. It has holes in the ears and... the red thing is here and the rabbit is over there, next to the red thing.
  • All: Hooray!
